Camping in the Camper

Titus probably doesn't remember camping when he was 9 months old, but he wanted to go camping as his first big prize for keeping his underwear dry/peeing in the potty. Yeah, he was still watching Curious George occasionally back here in June and Curious George went camping so that meant Titus wanted to go camping. We are also looking at selling our camper and this was kind of a test run to see if it was what we really wanted to do. We decided the time has come and we don't use the camper enough to keep it around. Where we live now is also better camping - less crowded, not as noisy, woodsy, etc. and we have the bathrooms we like without having to share with 1,000 other people. They smell better too.

We decided Titus may or may not have camping memories that would be cool to have, but he will have other fun memories that we create in other ways.

My parents met up with us Saturday morning and camped on Saturday night in the camper with us. We were up in Southern Indiana and my parents took Titus with them when they went to a family reunion. Aaron and I got a date and went hiking. We were planning on a 2 mile hike and ended up probably doing around 4 miles.

See the neighbors camper? Our neighbors around our house are much, much further away.

Packing Up
The job of pushing things to the front of the truck has been passed down to the next generation. I, hopefully, don't ever have to climb into the back of the truck again (hurting my knees).
