Adaptation with Art

I am an arts and crafts type of girl....

My son is not. I had a thought last week that my son would love to use an egg carton with paint to paint a sheep and flowers for the grandparents. Sorry grandparents! You will still get your "Happy Spring" card, but know it was not really your grandson who painted with an egg carton to make such a lovely spring picture. After "painting" a sheep and flowers, I let Titus loose with the paints, cardboard and 2 cars. I should have cut off a piece of cardboard and wrote 'Happy Spring' and let that be your Spring card. That would have been a Spring card Titus style.

Yesterday, I was looking on Pinterest for different ideas that I could re-purpose a used Oatmeal container.

He enjoyed it for about 15 minutes.

 Last night he played with it for about a half hour. This morning it was cereal for breakfast that took him away. In the future, I need to adapt and think like a little boy when it comes to "art."
