On the Hunt for Eggs

We didn't have any dinner plans for Easter and neither did our friends. We went out to lunch after church and came back to our place. The boys took a nap while us grown-ups played "Ticket to Ride." When the boys woke up we took them outside to hunt for Easter eggs.

Easter Baskets

Titus' Easter basket from us

Titus opening it
I'm pretty sure he was saying, "Daddy, open it."

He was a big fan of jelly beans.
The second Easter basket is from grandpa Larry and grandma Lori.

I think this was his favorite toy. He got two of them and they are on the noisy side when you bang them together.

More to play with later.

Coloring Easter Eggs

This was the first year that Titus was able to help me color Easter Eggs. I found a pin on Pinterest about using beaters for holding the egg in when it came to toddlers. The idea worked awesome!

We actually had two beaters, so he was thrilled.

Big Boy Bed

We had a very happy kid when we transformed his crib into a big boy bed. He was all giddy about the whole ordeal. He was happy to have his picture taken, as you can tell. Shortly after this we cut off the curls. We may grow it out again next winter, but warmer weather for this kid calls for shorter hair.

Snowdog, Snowboy, Snowman

My dog loves the snow!

 My boy loves the snow!
Thanks Aunt Beth for the hat that is bigger than my head. :) We had fun in it today.
I told Titus to look at me.

I hear snowmen love snow too!

A certain little boy loved his first snowman. I told him to come in and he didn't want to. I told him he couldn't stay out all day with his snowman. He said, "Stay - All Day!" He didn't win that battle.

A certain mommy loves her boy!

A certain mommy had to promise a sucker in exchange for pictures of her son kissing a snowman.

 Two extra pictures.
Is it spring or winter?

A view from our backyard. I love where we live.
