- At Titus' 2 year appointment he weighed 30.5 lbs and was 36" long. He is still in the 90th percentile for height and is in the 75th percentile for weight.
- He has started calling me, "Mommy," instead of MaMa.
- He counts objects now....1, 2, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 2 (with an occasional 9)
- He has went from talking about Zoey (our dog) all of the time and now everything is about Curious George.
- He is showing signs of being ready for potty-training. I'm holding him off until February. For the first time a couple nights ago, he was holding himself and saying, "Poopy," which is really peepee (he likes to use the other word for both bodily functions). Then he walked away. I know you wanted to know this. All of a sudden he wants nothing to do with a bath or anything else that involves having his diaper off.
- When Titus wants down he says, "Down me."
- He loves to run. Yes, he is one of those kids that might trip you at Wal-Mart as he is running and you are coming out of an aisle. It is great exercise for him and for me.
- Titus now makes requests for what he would like to watch on television. We can't just set him in front of the tv to watch just anything. Those days are over.
- Titus would still prefer to be fully dressed (most of the time, but not always) as opposed to running around in his diaper or naked. It's odd. Most parents think they would prefer a kid that likes to get dressed. However, instead of screaming due to getting clothes on him he screams and says, "I need. My pants." when his clothes are being taken off.
- He is starting to eat goopy things better (such as mashed potatoes). He has had texture issues with goopy things in the past. Another example is if there is too much yellow in the white part of the egg. Although it has become quite common to spit out a piece of a bite of his food and say, "Yucky." The piece that he takes out of his mouth is not any different than the rest of the bite in color, texture or taste I am sure.
- We have moved Titus' bedtime from 8pm to 9pm. We had to take an hour out somewhere, so he would go down easier at night. I just wasn't willing to give up his 3-4 hour nap or sleeping in until 8am just yet. YES, I know I am spoiled. However, now I have to make sure he is up around 8am so we don't run into the same issue again.
