A Shaffer Visit - Part 1

Our friends Jeremiah and Robin came to visit us bringing Titus' friends Isaac and Kayleigh. The boys had a blast together. Isaac has such a sweet spirit and the boys get along so well. Robin and I were middle and high school friends. We are both grown now with children.

Kayleigh likes to eat socks, say cheese, play with trains, crawl through tunnels, look into the camera, practice her walking, and eating (I mean, playing in) the water table.

Isaac enjoys crawling through tunnels, playing in the water table, and fixing toys.

The next few pictures look like a game of chase or hide-and-seek.

A Zoo Trip

This year we got an annual pass to the zoo. It allows me to take a guest and kids under 3 are free. We probably won't get it again, but it has been fun to have with having just moved to the area. We took a friend and one of Titus' buddies that is under 3 to enjoy the day at the zoo.

You know how they say, "Give the kid a toy and they play with the box."? Well, here are pictures of Titus playing with the box, although he didn't get a toy to go with it.

We later cut a hole in the side for a window. This was his favorite toy for over a month. He liked playing with his marbles in here. He liked watching cartoon shows on my Kindle in here. He really liked his house.

At one time Titus had some growing to do in order to fit into a t-shirt Aaron wore as a toddler. He has grown and here is the picture comparison two years later.
